How to Verify Your Eversend Virtual Card

E
Written by Eva

Some online merchants and platforms may require you to verify your Eversend virtual card before you can use it for payments or subscriptions. Card verification helps confirm that you are the legitimate cardholder and protects your transactions from unauthorized use.

The verification process may vary depending on the platform you are using.

Verifying your card during a payment (3D Secure)

Our card does not support 3D Secure authentication, which means that once it has been registered on a platform, any transaction will be processed without the need to enter a one-time password (OTP).

To enhance the security of your card, we strongly advise that you do not share your card details with anyone. Furthermore, please ensure that you remove your card information from any subscription-based platforms where it is not required.

Verifying your virtual card for Facebook Ads (Meta)

When adding your Eversend virtual card as a payment method for Facebook Ads, Meta may ask you to verify your card.

To verify your card:

  1. Log in to your Meta Ads Manager.

  2. Add your Eversend virtual card as your payment method.

  3. If requested, allow Meta to perform its card verification process.

  4. Follow the instructions provided by Meta to complete the verification.

  5. Once the verification is complete, your card will be charged $1, and a verification code will be sent to you.

Meta Verification Code

To find the verification code for your card, follow these steps:

  1. Open the Eversend app and navigate to the card section.

  2. Access the card transactions.

  3. Look for a transaction labeled with "META" or similar, as the code is typically the last 4 letters after "META" in the transaction description.

If the code is not visible, ensure that the payment has been deducted. Once completed, the code should appear in your card's transaction history. If the code still hasn't appeared, it may not have been sent yet.

If your card verification fails

If you're unable to verify your virtual card:

  • Make sure your card is active.

  • Ensure your card has enough available balance to cover any temporary verification charges that the merchant may request.

  • Double-check that you've entered your card number, expiry date, and CVV correctly.

  • If you're verifying your card on a merchant's website, follow any additional instructions provided by that merchant.

Need help?

If you're still unable to verify your virtual card after following the steps above, contact Eversend Customer Support through More > Help in the app or email [email protected]. When contacting support, include the name of the platform where the verification failed and, if possible, a screenshot of any error message you received.
