How to Add [and Use] your Eversend Virtual Card on PayPal

Here's a step-by-step guide on how to add and use your Eversend virtual card on PayPal in order to make payments.

Step 1: Log into your PayPal account

Go to the PayPal website and enter your email address and password in the login form. If you don't have a PayPal account, you'll need to create one by clicking the "Sign Up" button on the login page.

Step 2: Go to the Wallet tab

Once you're logged in, you'll be taken to your PayPal dashboard. Click on the "Wallet" tab at the top of the screen; this will take you to your PayPal wallet, where you can view your current balance, linked cards as well as other payment options.

Step 3: Click on "Link a Card"

In your PayPal wallet, you'll see an option to "Link a Card", click on it, this will enable you link your Eversend virtual card to your PayPal account.

Step 4: Select the card type

Here, select "Credit or Debit Card" as the card type, since you are linking your Eversend virtual card to your PayPal account.

Step 5: Enter your card details

Once you've selected the card type, you'll need to input your Eversend virtual card details (card number, expiration date and security code (also called, CVV). You can get these details by tapping on "Cards" on the Eversend app homepage, long-press on your displayed card and click on '"Reveal card details".

You may also be asked to provide the billing address associated with your Eversend virtual card, this is accessible to you on the card page when you click on the displayed "Billing address" option on the Eversend app. Ensure to use the USA billing address on the Eversend app and not another address.

Step 6: Click on "Link Card"

Once you've entered your card details, click on "Link Card" to proceed. PayPal will then verify your card information and link it to your account.

Step 7: Verify your card

After you've linked your Eversend virtual card to your PayPal account, you'll need to verify it in order to confirm that the card is legitimate. PayPal verifies linked card by charging a small amount to your card and asking you to enter that exact amount charged, in order to successfully verify your linked card.

To verify your linked card, take note of these steps:

  1. Check your Eversend virtual card account (card transaction history) to see the exact amount charged by PayPal. The charge is usually less than $1.

  2. Log into your PayPal account and click on the "Wallet" tab.

  3. Find the Eversend virtual card you just added and click on "Confirm my Card" next to it.

  4. Enter the exact amount charged to your Eversend virtual card by PayPal and click “Confirm.”

Once the above steps have been carried out, PayPal will proceed to verify your Eversend virtual dollar card and link it to your account with them. (The card verification process may take a few minutes, exercise patience.)

Now that your Eversend virtual dollar card is successfully linked to your PayPal account and verified, you can start using it to make online purchases and payments. All you have to do is select your Eversend virtual card as the payment method during checkout and PayPal will process the payment for the transaction you are initiating via your linked Eversend virtual card.
