With an Eversend Virtual Card, you can make secure online payments anywhere your card is accepted. Follow the steps below to create and fund your card.
Before You Begin
Make sure you have enough funds in your Eversend account. You can fund your wallet using:
Mobile Money
Bank transfer
Credit or debit card
How to Create Your Virtual Card
Open the Eversend app.
Tap the Cards tab.
Select Create New Card.
Enter the amount you would like to load onto your new virtual card.
Tap Continue to create your card.
Your virtual card will be created instantly once the process is complete.
Fees and Limits
Card Creation Fee
$0 (Free)
Minimum Card Funding Amount
$1 USD
Card Maintenance Plans
When creating your virtual card, you can choose one of the following maintenance plans:
Plan A – Monthly Subscription
$1 USD per month
The first month's maintenance fee is charged when your card is created. After that, a recurring fee of $1 USD will be deducted every 30 days.
The monthly fee is deducted from your available funds in the following order:
USD Wallet
Virtual Card Balance
Other wallets with available funds
Plan B – One-Time Payment
$3 USD (one-time fee)
Pay a single fee and enjoy unlimited use of your virtual card with no recurring monthly maintenance charges.
Additional Information
Foreign Exchange (FX) Fees
If you use your virtual card for transactions in a currency different from your card's currency, foreign exchange (FX) fees will apply. Please refer to the Eversend Transaction Fees page for the latest charges.
Insufficient Funds Fee
If a transaction is declined because your card does not have enough funds, a $0.40 USD fee will be charged for each failed transaction attempt.
To avoid these charges, ensure your virtual card has sufficient funds before making a payment.
