Why was my account blocked after receiving money?

Why was my account blocked after I received a transfer?

In some cases, receiving a payment can trigger an automatic security review on your account. This is part of our fraud prevention system and is not a permanent block.

Why does this happen?
Our system monitors transactions for unusual patterns to protect all Eversend users. Certain incoming transfers, particularly large amounts or transfers from new senders may trigger a temporary hold while we verify the transaction is legitimate.

This is not a judgment on you as a customer. It is an automated process that affects a small number of transactions.

What to do
Contact our support team as soon as possible. To speed up the review:

  • Have your account email address ready

  • Be prepared to confirm the source of the funds if asked (for example, who sent the money and why)

Most reviews are completed within 1 business day. Your funds are safe during this time.

Important: Do not create a new account while your current account is under review. This may complicate the process.
