Supported European countries for EUR bank transfers
Eversend currently supports sending EUR to bank accounts (IBANs) in the following European countries:
Austria
Belgium
Bulgaria
Croatia
Cyprus
Estonia
Finland
France
Germany
Greece
Ireland
Italy
Latvia
Lithuania
Luxembourg
Malta
Portugal
Slovakia
Slovenia
Spain
Note: The Netherlands is not currently supported for EUR bank transfers on Eversend.
Beneficiary phone number must match the IBAN country
When adding a beneficiary for a EUR transfer, the phone number you enter for the beneficiary must be a phone number from the same country as the receiving IBAN.
Example: If you're sending to an Italian IBAN (starting with IT), the beneficiary's phone number must also be an Italian phone number (starting with +39).
If the phone number's country doesn't match the IBAN's country, the transfer will not go through.
How to send
Open the Send tab and choose or add a beneficiary.
Select the destination country from the list above.
Enter the beneficiary's first name, last name, and a phone number from that same country.
Enter the beneficiary's IBAN. Eversend will automatically look up the bank name and BIC/SWIFT code for you.
Confirm the details and enter the amount to send.
Common problems
"Invalid IBAN" message
Check that the IBAN has no typos or extra spaces, and that the country code at the start of the IBAN (e.g. DE, FR, IT) matches the country you selected.
Transfer won't proceed
Double-check that the beneficiary's phone number is registered with a dialling code from the same country as the IBAN.
