An Eversend tag (also called a payment link) lets people send you money using your unique @tag. If a payment to your tag is showing as pending, here's what it means and what to do.

What "pending" means The payment has been initiated but has not yet been credited to your wallet. This is usually temporary.

Common reasons for a pending tag payment

  • The sender's mobile money or bank transaction is still processing

  • There is a temporary delay with the payment provider

  • The sender's account had insufficient funds and the transaction failed silently on their end

What to do

  1. Wait up to 30 minutes — most pending tag payments resolve automatically

  2. Ask the sender to confirm whether they received a debit on their end

  3. If the sender was debited but you still haven't received the funds after 1 hour, contact our support team with:

    • The tag payment reference number (shown in your transaction history)

    • The sender's name and phone number

    • The amount and currency
