Your Eversend USD virtual card must have enough funds before you can make online payments or pay for subscriptions.
Important: Your USD wallet and USD virtual card have separate balances. Money in your USD wallet is not automatically available on your virtual card. You must transfer funds to your virtual card before making a payment.
Step 1: Add money to your Eversend wallet
Before funding your virtual card, you need to add money to one of your Eversend wallets.
To fund your wallet:
Open the Eversend app.
Go to Balances.
Select the wallet you want to fund.
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the deposit.
Your funds should appear in your wallet within a few minutes.
Step 2: Fund your virtual card
Once your wallet has been funded, you can add money to your virtual card in one of two ways.
Option 1: Fund your card directly from any Eversend wallet
You can transfer funds directly from any supported Eversend wallet to your virtual card.
Open the Eversend app and go to Cards.
Select the virtual card you want to fund.
Tap Fund.
Choose the wallet you want to transfer money from.
Enter the amount you want to add.
Enter your account PIN to confirm.
Your virtual card balance will be updated instantly.
Option 2: Exchange your funds to USD first
If you prefer to know the exact USD amount that will be added to your card, you can first exchange your funds to USD before funding the card.
Exchange your funds to USD
Open the Eversend app and go to Balances.
Select the wallet containing your funds.
Tap Exchange.
Select USD as the destination currency.
Enter the amount you want to exchange.
Confirm the exchange.
Transfer the USD to your virtual card
Go to Cards.
Select the virtual card you want to fund.
Tap Fund.
Select your USD wallet.
Enter the USD amount you want to transfer to the card.
Enter your account PIN to confirm.
Your virtual card balance will be updated instantly.
Which option should I choose?
You can use either method to fund your virtual card. However, funding your card from your USD wallet allows you to see the exact USD amount that will be added to your card balance before completing the transfer.
