Can I use my Eversend virtual card with Apple Pay, Google Wallet, or other digital wallets?

E
Written by Eva

Eversend virtual cards cannot be added to Apple Pay. Apple Pay only supports cards that are tokenized by participating card issuers. Since Eversend virtual cards are not tokenized, they are not compatible with Apple Pay.

Support for Google Wallet and other digital wallets may vary, but Eversend does not currently support adding its virtual card to Apple Pay, and digital wallet compatibility is not guaranteed.

Can I still use my virtual card for online purchases?

Yes. Your Eversend virtual card can be used for online purchases at merchants that accept Visa, provided the merchant accepts virtual cards, and your transaction meets their payment requirements.

In fact, you can use your Eversend virtual card across thousands of websites and online services worldwide.

Why might my card be declined?

Your card may be declined for several reasons, including:

  • Billing information doesn't match the details required by the merchant.

  • Account region restrictions, where the merchant only accepts payment methods from certain countries or regions.

  • Digital wallet limitations, since the Eversend virtual card cannot be added to Apple Pay and may not be supported by other digital wallets.

  • Merchant restrictions, as some services do not accept certain virtual or prepaid card types.

  • Insufficient funds or an inactive card.

What should I do if my payment is declined?

If your payment doesn't go through:

  1. Confirm that your card number, expiry date, and CVV are entered correctly.

  2. Ensure your virtual card is active.

  3. Check that your card has enough balance to cover the purchase, including any temporary authorization charges.

  4. Verify that the merchant accepts Visa cards and that your account region meets their payment requirements.

  5. If the payment still fails, contact Eversend Support through the app so we can investigate the decline.
