You cannot change your phone number directly inside the app. To request a phone number change, you'll need to contact our support team and complete a short identity verification process. This is to make sure your account stays secure and that only you can make changes to it.
If you need to update the phone number linked to your Eversend account, we are happy to review your request.
Eligibility
Your new phone number must have the same country code as the phone number currently registered on your account.
Example: If your account was registered with a Kenyan phone number (+254), the new phone number must also be a Kenyan (+254) number. We cannot process requests to change your phone number to one from a different country.
How to Request a Phone Number Change
To request a phone number change, please follow these steps:
Take a selfie while holding the government-issued ID registered on your Eversend account. (Please refer to the attached example image for guidance.)
Using the email address registered on your Eversend account, send an email to [email protected]
Use the subject line: CHANGE OF PHONE NUMBER.
In the body of the email, include:
Your current phone number
Your new phone number
The reason for the phone number change
What Happens Next?
Once we've received your request, our team will review the information provided. If everything is in order, we'll assist you with updating your phone number and notify you of the next steps if any additional information is required.
