Q: I tried adding money but was rejected. What happened?

Did you get a “unfortunately, something went wrong while we were trying to process your request. Please try again later.” message?

Common reason

  1. The card you used isn’t what we call “3D Secure

    To protect you from fraud prevention, users can only use cards that are “3D-secure” to add money to Eversend. This basically refers to cards that require users to complete an additional verification step with the card issuer to authenticate user identity when paying.

    Does the card you used to top up your Eversend Wallet issue a One Time Password (OTP) in order to transact? If not, it is not a 3D-secure card and we cannot accept money added from it. You were not debited either.

Solution: Please try adding money with another card that is “3D secure” instead.
