You can send money from Kenya to Nigeria with Eversend by funding your wallet, exchanging your funds into Nigerian Naira (NGN), and then completing your transfer. Follow the steps below to send money quickly and securely.
Step 1: Fund Your Wallet
Before you can make a transfer, you'll need to add funds to your Eversend wallet.
Open the Eversend app.
Tap Balance.
Swipe to your KES wallet.
Tap Fund.
Enter the amount you want to add.
Choose your preferred funding method (such as your linked bank card) and complete the payment.
Step 2: Exchange Your Currency
Once your wallet has been funded, convert your Kenyan Shillings (KES) to Nigerian Naira (NGN).
Go to the Exchange section in the app.
Select KES as the currency you're exchanging from.
Select NGN as the currency you're exchanging to.
Enter the amount you want to convert.
Review the exchange rate and confirm the transaction.
Step 3: Send Money to Nigeria
After exchanging your funds, you're ready to send money.
Tap on the 'Send' tab.
Choose option 3, which is labeled 'bank'.
Tap the '+' symbol to add a beneficiary.
You will be prompted to enter a phone number, country code, and name. Once you have provided this information, click on 'continue'.
Next, select the phone number you just added to input the bank details.
