How do I add a beneficiary on Eversend?

Adding a beneficiary allows you to save the details of people you send money to frequently, making future transfers faster and more convenient. You can add beneficiaries for bank transfers, mobile money transfers, and Eversend wallet-to-wallet transfers.

Choose the transfer type below and follow the corresponding steps.

Add a Bank Transfer Beneficiary

  1. Open the Eversend app and tap Send.

  2. Select Bank Transfer as your transfer method.

  3. Tap Add Beneficiary or the + icon in the top-left corner.

  4. Enter the recipient's details, including:

    • Full name

    • Bank name

    • Account number

    • Any other required information

  5. Review the details and tap Continue to save the beneficiary.

Add a Mobile Money Beneficiary

  1. Open the Eversend app and tap Send.

  2. Select Mobile Money as your transfer method.

  3. Tap Add Beneficiary or the + icon in the top-left corner.

  4. Enter the recipient's:

    • Full name

    • Mobile money number

  5. Tap Continue to save the beneficiary.

Add an Eversend Beneficiary

  1. Open the Eversend app and tap Send.

  2. Select Eversend.

  3. Search for the recipient using their:

    • Full name

    • Mobile money number used on their Eversend account

  4. Select the correct recipient from the search results.

  5. Tap Save or Add to Beneficiaries.

Troubleshooting

If you receive an error while adding a beneficiary, try the following:

  • Verify that all the recipient's details are correct, including the account number, mobile money number, and name.

  • Make sure you're using the latest version of the Eversend app.

  • Check that you have a stable internet connection and try again.
